What is so important about an old photograph taken in the 1920s? It is not particularly good as photographs go, but it is of great importance to us. We were given this old photograph which has supplied us with important information about the Post Office in Sawyers Valley during the 1930s. We were not aware of the owners of the Post Office at that time, and this photograph has filled in a gap that we didnt even know we had.

Mundaring and Hills Historical Society is so grateful to members of the public for supplying us with photographs and ephemera of life in the Hills. Without your invaluable help, we would not have the information that we currently have. Our archives would be sadly lacking.

So, keep up the good work people and carry on offering your local Historical Society information about your area. We would not be able to help others without your help.

A big Thank You
