Read about some of the interesting personalities who have lived and worked in the Shire of Mundaring, including the renowned writer and activist Katharine Susannah Prichard; seamstress Mrs Alice Roberts who was the widow of the Mundaring Station Master Frank Roberts; Agnes Elfrida Jacoby, daughter of well-known hotelier Fred Jacoby; acclaimed singer and music teacher Phyllis Browning-Ashton; renowned artist James Walter Robert Linton; and Polish immigrant Mr Zygmunt Slowinski who laboured hard but relished his freedom and independence.
